Air Razor and Magnetic fuel ionizer
I have recently purchased these items but have not yet installed them. I have 30 days to try them out. I went to install them but have no clue how to do it. Before i go to the trouble of installing them i wanted to get some feedback on them and see if anyone had had any luck with them. It says it is supposed to add to your mpg and horse power. This was an easy thing i thought to do that i can remove to get any warranty work done to the car.

Great way to make friends Moto. Oh, and I'm sure the mods are going to love your first few posts...
You really should have done some more research on those products and used the search button on this forum.

I will do that. It cost 30 dollars so im not to bothered by it. I did read negative articles on the devices but i guess i am a risk taker. I figured why would the gurantee the product if it didnt work. I haven tried it and dont want to **** something up installing it in my sweet machine that is the rx8.

Expo, great link.
I couldn't stop laughing at that device that acutally caused an engine bay fire!
Moto, I'm just glad you didn't install these products yet. I'd hate to see anything bad happen to a fellow RX-8.
Just do a search and I'm sure you'll find others who have tried to use these products

The guys on this forum can get pretty sarcastic sometimes with posts they perceive to be by naive newbies. But they're usually pretty lighthearted and benign. Obscenities are not appreciated. And usually not tolerated by the mods.

They are (here to help)....As you stated this board has a group of SOME young ******** who do not know your answer so they give you a smart *** remark.
It is easy to hide behind a keyboard when you're a ***** in person.
Don't judge everyone. I for one have learned and even given a lot of tips on the car.

I agree, to be met with an ignorant reply after requesting help or advice is ultimate dis respect...Also keep in mind that some of these people dont actually own a rx8 and just love causing ****... To all that fit that description get a life..and remember that tongues and fingers can get the rest of your bodies into trouble...

No disrespect.....
No disrespect, I really just thought he was joking.
I thought the "dead giveaway" was that he bought TWO different types of rip-off, and then asked how to install them.
I guess I just over-estimated his sense of HaHa.....

The problem of crapping on newbies is not solved by deleting the post. This happens all the time here and too many people think that it is funny. Invariably, some newbie gets their car and just wants to participate in the forum which inevitably trips over one of the many wires (posting on previously discussed topic, asking a basic car question, asking about junk mods . . . whatever) setting off a flame fest from the forum membership. It isn't funny and ruins everyone's experience on the forum. In the end those newbies who get flamed often never come back. Forums are not for the informed to keep proving how smart they are. Forums are for the uniformed to learn from others, and that means often asking stupid questions. It would be good if people could understand that a newbie is just that, a newbie, and that they should probably be cut a little slack until they learn the rules of the forum. How about it?

OK, you can be the DefenderOfNoobs.
How about you shuffle over to the New Thread where the noob just posted this, and I quote;.... it was supposed to get 18\24 mpg and lets just say I'm far from it, averaging about 15 mpg combined HW and city is this normal for the RX-8?, within the last ten minutes.
Hurry, the flaming begins shortly!
