Alert beeping & electrical motor running??
I'm in NC and it's about 98 here today.... when I got in my car after it sat in the sun for a while the ambient temp said 108
Anyway... I started the car w/o any problems but then the beeping started
It's like an alert beep beep beep beep <pause> beep beep beep beep... you get the idea. And I can hear a little electric motor run back and forth, 1 sec one way, next sec other way, repeat. I played with the radio, CD, mirrors, AC controls, fan etc, but it didn't seem to affect it. It went away after a minute or two.
Oh, no fail this that or the other lights on the dash.
After I drove on the highway for about 20 mins (~75 mph) the beeping and the motor came back for a minute or two again and went away. It repeated this one more time and then went away.
ANY IDEAS?

There are several reasons you might here a beep-- (rev-limit, tps, or PCM- needs re-program), and I,m sure others. What is interesting is, iyou mentioned the beep started at 75 mph-- which is the the limit it will beep at , if the PCM is not programed N . Did anyone mess with instrument cluster?
