For people that have done oil testing before, do you choose just the standard oil test,
or some of the other options in addition?

I just do standard...you can also pay a little more and do a "dyson analysis" kit, which has terry dyson look at your UOA personally (tribologist) and give you recommendations as to intervals and oil additives/types.
One G35 owner cut his wear metals in half after doing a dyson kit based on terry's recommendations.

I recently switched to Redline for my Manual Transmission even after my Uncle had recomended Amsoil.
Two weeks and I wasn't satisfied so I switched to the Amsoil 2000 series 75W90 which I already had for the rear diff. Huge difference Amsoil is great.
I also switched over to Amsoil 2000 series 5W30 for the engine.
Happy so far.
What are the differences between the MT-90 and the 75W90?
Is it just the limited slip additive?
What does it do?

I should have reposted the reason I had trouble is I had replaced the the clutch line... didn't bleed it properly but I could after I installed the speedbleeders... everything was great. Should be just fine with the Redline.
Sorry about that.
