Annoying Exhaust Sound
A few months ago, I had to get out of the way of a drunk driver. I downshifted hard and hit a curb when the back end went out and started going sideways. Bout a 25mph impact on the curb and jacked up the whole *** end. Knocked the back wheel sideways, jacked up several key suspension parts, and cracked BOTH wheels.
I got the car back, fixed, or so I thought. Now, I hear a sound. It's the passenger side exhaust, I took the car back to where I got it fixed. I assumed it was just a loose bracket or bolt that wasn't tightened down all the way, because it vibrated against the bumper or made an annoying squeeking sound when I went over bumps. They told me it was all tightened down and couldn't find any kind of problem.
So answer me this: Could it be the exhaust is just bent, or is there something INSIDE the exhaust that could be broken. If either of the problems with the pipe is messed up enough to be the same price as a High Flow Cat, then I'll probably just go with a High Flow Cat and put it on instead.

Yeah, you can check the sways, but it also could've jarred something loose in the cans. The exhaust back there just hangs off of rubber hangers, so unless one of those is extremely brittle/cracked, I doubt it's movement there. When the car is cool, go and move that exhaust around by hand and see how much play it really has. There might be something that is shoved up close to it, or it's bent(I kinda doubt this one). Look at the clearance on that side as oppsed to the other.
