Any benefit of getting TSB 01-050/06 done?

I saw a discussion about this from another thread but really not conclusion.

Is there any benefit of getting this TSB done which they install new silonoids/PCV valve and lines to the acordian part of the intake versus putting a breather on the line coming from the oil filler neck?

Any performance benefit or MPG benefit?

It would help prevent oil getting into the intake.

The only performance/mpg gain you would get would be from the filter not getting dirty as quick...and that's kind of a stretch.

Should I even bother or just put a breather on it and cap off on the intake side?

Dont know if it would hurt anything, but could you cap off both ends?

What if you don't do anything at all. Will it have any long term effect on your engine?
