Ignition.

As in Coils?

As in the keyswitch?

For coils, it is a great do-it-yourself project. Less than an hour of your time, plus about $40 each (x 4) for parts. There are threads in the DIY section. I could search threads, but I think that dealers in the US quote about $300 parts&labour.

For the ignition switch, it should be about 1/2 hour of time, plus the part.

Note that dealers or any shop will have spent time to diagnose the problem before they suggest a repair. They will also stand behind their work & need to pay their techs and make a profit.

Are you sure you don't need a neutral switch?

that causes problem like hunting idle, and starts.
