Apexi Super Ground
Has anyone heard any feed back on this from Apexi? you can read about it on their website- www.apexi-usa.com. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to put this in a rotory engine.

I have read up on grounding kits a lot and the reviews have been mixed on the performance with the rotory engine. You will probably see a little increase across the spectrum but not much. Depends on how much you want to spend. Your probably better off if you are looking for hp to go with air intake but I read that one member had some good results from a gound kit. I suggest looking on Ebay for one to save you some cash. Apexi is a good brand, I had it on my Honda and never had a problem. Try searching grounding in hear in the forum, a lot of people have posted. Good luck Army, if you go with it post your results. Always like to hear about mods and how they have actually performed for people.

I've installed a similar system on my car. The Hyper voltage system by Sun automobile. The most obvious effect is that it smoothed out the rev band, no more surge at 7k or so and it seems to come into the powerband a bit sooner as well.

I was lookin gat teh pecs and apexi says that teh super gorund's allowable current is 75a...our alternator is 12v100a. anyoen thing this woudl work? I'm not an electrician so i'm not sure if it'll be a good idea to put it on.

With those specs I would be concerned as well. However, we would rarely use the full 100 amps from the alternator. The risk-taker in me has considered the Super Ground kit. The unique thing about it is that it deals with the positive part of the electrical system as well as the ground. I read in one of the tuner mags that it worked well on an STi they are modding but when used on previous Mazda projects, the results were better that other brands. They didn't get into details but in specifically mentioning Mazda they were wondering why the results would be better than average.

I don't know if it is worth it to pick up the whole copy for just a paragraph. Suffice it to say that in that issue, although they were installing the Super Ground on an STi, there was a note made that older Mazdas, and even the newer ones, benefitted from this mod more than other makes of cars. The author(s) of the article wondered why that would be but remained convinced that Mazdas benefit much from this particular mod.
