Autometer Nexus Gauges
I need some help. Iam looking to buy some gauges to my N/a rx8. I like the autometer nexus one the most but they are expensive.
What you think about it ?? Are they any good or I will just pay for the look.
I dont mind paying more couse I think they will be looking good in the car but I want them to perform as good as other less expensive.
Price for oil temp oil pressure and water temp is around 550$ plus the module around 250$ so all together is a lot of money.
Lets say I will take autometer like the one RB have in they pod they will cost around 250$ so you can see the difference.
Thank you for your help and I open for other options. I just want them too look close to our rx8 day and night ilumination and to get their job done good!

I looked into the autometer nexus gauges when I was looking for some kind of readout as to how my motor was doing.
I cannot speak to the overall quality of the gauges but I would figure they are pretty accurate. That being said, I'm sure you would be able to find another set of gauges that are just as accurate but less expensive.
The Nexus series offer a lot of data logging capabilities which can easily be done with other devices, and those devices will read sensor data from the OBD II port and give you a greater wealth of information.
The warning/peak feature is also something else you can find in other gauges without needing a controller.
Unless you have a specific need for instant playback of gauge data or some kind of special logging needs you will probably be paying for features you won't use.
I would explore some other gauge options prior to making your decision.

I would not suggest pro-sport compact. If you need more information than that please PM me for details.
