Bad/strange sounds after replacement engine
So I got my car back from the dealer yesterday with a new (reman) engine. It was making some weird noises, and I really dont know if they are normal for a brand new engine during the break-in period (I bought my car used, so i wouldn't know) or if I should be worried.
In particular, when I let off the gas (engine braking) at low rpm (3,000 or so) there is a "scraping" type of sound. It sounds as if there is a piece of plastic or metal being dragged under the car. It's hard to localize, and not super loud, but it's coming from the engine/transmission area. When I'm giving it even light throttle, the noise disappears completely.
Any ideas? Is this not normal? I know i could just bring it back to the dealer, but die to my location and work, its a huge hassle to do that during normal working hours, so I'm trying to figure it out here first.... thanks!

it could be the cat or exhaust manifold, good idea. its strange, if anything it sounds like it's coming from the clutch/transmission...
OH and only happens in first and second gears, and seems to go away once the car is hot. If that helps at all....
ill try to get some sound clip

I will definitely call them tomorrow though so the complaint is on the record, and see what they say...
