Battery died, jump started and DSC and TCD refuses to turn off.

My battery died yesterday because I left the keys in the accessories position by accident while detailing the car for the whole day. At the end of the day, i hopped in and pressed the brakes preparing to start it. I noticed all the gauge needles sweeping to the max and returning again. I thought it was some cool unknown feature so I did it a few times until the needles went crazy and the needle swept past 10k rpm.

Well I found out my battery was dead and wanted until today to jump start it. First I tried it without revving my Infiniti donor car. It wouldn't start and I stopped before it flooded. I then had someone rev the Infiniti and the RX8 started after a few seconds of cranking. I noticed the DSC light was blinking and the TCS light was on. Didn't care much since I thought it would reset itself after i restart the car. I let the RX8 run for about an hour.

I started the car for the second time and it started right up. The DSC and TCS lights were still on. I pressing the DSC button and all that. I then shut off the car, took the positive battery terminal off to clean the connectors but it was only for five minutes because I had to leave for work. After connecting everything together, i did the 20x brake pedal pump method in the ON position. I started the car and same thing...

I gave up and left for work in the Infiniti. Now what is going on? What can I do without going to the stealership? The car is no longer under bumper to bumper warranty and powertrain warranty.

Read the manual. There's a procedure to clear the lights, I think.

I'll assume you really aren't kidding or being sarcastic. You have enough posts to know better than this or your search skills really suck.....as might be evidenced by you not being able to locate the page in the manual either!

I'll save your *** this time before Swoope gets here!
5-24 is the page # at least in the 05 manual.

You really should take the time to read most, if not all of this manual.

It's OK. At least I had to flip a page to 5-22 to read what I needed on my 04 manual.

you need to put 0w10 oil into your gas tank, and gasoline into your engine oil fill hole.
