Belt for Aftermarket Pulley
Ok, when I bought my Rx8 it had a set of SR Motorsports pulleys on it. The belt broke this morning and I dont know what belt to get to replace it.
I went to SR Motorsports and it shows that their pulleys are wider so I assume they would use a wider belt???
Do I have to order the belt from SR Motorsports or is there another way to get a belt that will fit without having to pay $109?

Do you still have your OE belt?
If so, I'm betting the OE length will work. You would then only need line it up the same on all the pulleys. This would get you mobile. By counting the OE ribs vs the pulley rib grooves on the SR belt then any decent part store should be able to find the proper rib belt using the OE length ang get you one. Try a NAPA store.
Otherwise you may have been running it too tightas it's unusual to even break the narrower OE belt if tensioned correctly. Your larger belt system should need even less tension than OE since it has so much more surface friction to avoid slippage.

I'm not sure which set it was. It was on the car when I bought it, therefore I don't have the OE belt either. Looking at the pulleys on the car, they don't look any wider so if there is a normal set from SR im guessing it would be that set...
