does it at 5k uh?
I have experienced several shut downs of coils on cars and motorcycles. After they cool they work.
Very good chance it's the coils. Pull the plugs look inside. Pluul them off and look at the bottom. They burn on the bottom. You can find pictures if you search.

i have two sets that look the same.. one is fine, the other not so much..
