Cleaned and installed the front rotor, all the seals. I am tired so no brain power to write a whole lot, or answer questions....
Here are some pics. we did make a bunch of videos showing the cutting seals and installing the apex seals process, as well as fitting the side seals and other stuff, but I am too tired to deal with it now.

Nice vice and homemade grinder. Did yall have a nerf shootout?
THAT ROTOR (PRECLEANED) LOOKS INTERESTING.
I still think we need stronger springs.
Looking forward to all the pics/videos?
Ray I may buy you a ticket to GA when I am ready to do my rebuild on my standby engine. It may be a while though. How about this idea---adding turbonators to the water jacket channels around the sparkplug(leading) area? You ought to see.
Good job guys

I allmost forgot. Maybe you could set up a nitrous nozzle in the center of the hood to set up a "misting" effect like the ones at six flags. This would cool the entire engine bay as well as keeping the coils from getting those silly little white spots.

aircraft guys using the renasis engines have discovered hot spots in the rotor housings (at substained high rpms) around the lead plug area. They have addressed that issue by machining "turobonators" into the water jacket channels---makes them wavey looking---small hills/ridges kinda looking. This slows the coolant in that particular area and also adds a little more surface area for the coolant to come into contanct with the housing.

Ok guys I crank tomorrow----one w/e I was working on my car it was snowing--I am OUTSIDE---remember. The next weekend I was working on the dang thing --Tornado---no ****--yall read about the one that hit Atlanta? Many trees in my backyard and the wind was so damn strong it blew a squirrel out of a tree onto my car---while I was under the hood --scared the ---- out of me . Squirrel was a little shaken also.
These are interesting times.
Mazsport ignition turned out snap(i have the pettit kit and the coils are located up front).
Yall still awaiting housing?

IT's back together, but not finalized. It starts with factory PCM, but runs rather flaky, and unstable (probably because of the fact that it is a turboed car, and the MAF is installed in the charge pipe). There is tuning to be done with Int-X, which I haven't had a chance to do. For some reason, when started with Int-X the thing runs extremely lean. My O2 gauge reads from 9 to 16 AF ratios and when the motor is running on Int-X it is showing 16 all the time, with some lean backfiring...
Basically I need to do quite a bit of work here still before she can rip again.
There is still some stuff to be installed (the hood, the bumper cover, and other misc crap), but Ray had to fly home, and I haven't gotten to it yet.
We were dead tired to post up, and now I got quite a bit of catching up to do at work.
With all the findings, I ended up taking some shortcuts here and there. I know, it is not the best way of doing things, and it may or may not work, but it is my car, my money and thus my decision. Whether it pays off in the future, or I end up shooting myself in the foot is yet unknown. I'll keep this info to myself for now. When it comes to BHR, however I will say this: Black Halo Racing stood by and followed through on every single promice that was made and a whole lot more in addition to it. Ray is the man! He is totally dedicated, competent, extremely knowledgeable, bright, flexible, alert and extremely detail oriented hard working man, and a great friend. Believe it when I say this: CRH's heart is the biggest and kindest blood pumping device you'll ever encounter in your life. I feel privileged to be able to call him my friend!!!
Ray, you hear that? My kids now miss you, and Nina dropped a few tears yesterday because of you. ..******* There is just no saying how much i am thankful for everything you did.
There is a ton of pics and video material to be posted, and I will do so, as I get to it, so stay put.
