blown engine?

Ok, the car runs like ****, and sounds like a v8 on steroids, i think that i blew the apex seals on one of the rotors, someone also told me that the timing might be bad cause i have no cat, and that the na rotaries need back pressure, so that may have caused the timing to get messed up... can anyone help

Go to the dealer and get a compression test done

if it smokes ALOT, you might have a blown seal.

but if it just *really loud* and *lack of power*. It might be dead engine, but it also could be foul Plugs, bad coils, bad spark wires, etc.

So check first. Dont conclude it so fast.

Oh, Cat-Free will NOT mess your timing up. All you will get is a CEL that means *cat effciency below therashold* or something. and thats it.

A blown apex seal doesn't mean it will smoke... just run like he described... Typically it will want to stall if you let off the throttle.

it dies every once in a while, it does not smoke, but it does backfire like crazy, mods to the car are only, intake, full exhaust with no cat, and greddy emanage with the na map

if under warranty, change it back to stock take it back and have a dealer take a look. but I doubt they will be able to fix anything, dealerships are useless.
