Yeah, 6 pt is the way to go, but I dont think the ratchet would've done it even with 6pt sockets... it's got too much spring in the mechanism

One thing I don't miss about NJ is all the salt/chemicals they put on the roads.....it does wonders to the underside of a car. Its a bit rusty under there.

you should never use a ratchet to apply shock loading anyway - sure way to f**k it!

I have 1, and Im going to take it out on my next oil change.

ITs just drains too slow.

haha the oil filter was on tight, but I got it off with some muscle

yes. it's awesome.

just put a drain pan under the car. Flip the switch and go do something else. When it's done, flip the switch and remove the oil pan.

Maybe a dumb question, but does the fumoto valve work with turbo oi line without tapping the pan for a new hole?

If that were the case I wouldn't be using the greddy dual drain oil pan AND the fumoto valve on my rx-8
