Brake fluid flush

Checked Search- could not find

First -Is it absolutely neceassary at 30K
second- anyDIY

Is it in the owner's manual at 30k? If it is in the manual, do it. If it isn't, don't unless you want to switch to a higher performance fluid.

probably not *necessary* unless you do track-type activities in your 8, but a good extra maintenance thing to do, never hurts to have fresh brake fluids in the system

no actual DIY thread I know of, but it is identical to any other cars with hydraulic braking system :p (ie bleed from farthest wheel to closest to the resevoir)

I would check the shop manual on that zoomzoomh... I have never done a brake fluid change on a car with abs before but I seem to recall that there is a special procedure or sequence becuase the ABS pump is in between the master cylinder and the wheels.

actually that IS what the shop manual says for brake bleeding/flushing procedure... have shop manual in pdf files :D
