Angry cant drift

Evey time I use the e-brake when trying to drift I only slow down.I've tested in doing down hill hiten tight corners going at least 40-55mph even though the speed limit says 30mph I dont give a **** about the speed limit. I can drift that hill in my moms honda civic hybrid front wheel drive, but I cant do it in my rx8 realy pisses me off.

why don't you try disabling the DCS/TCS I would only press it once if I were you if you completely disable it it gets really squirly and comes loose real fast you'll spin it before you drift it unless you really know what your doing...

Good luck don't kill yourself I'd feel bad...

civic=FWD=power sliding not drifting. your an idiot for even trying it on the street where there pedestrians, cars, kids playing around, curbs, trees, pot holes. if you wanna drift quit being a ***** and do a high rev clutch kick take off the DCS/TCS. If your gonna drift do it some where else at a track, if you dont have one goto a warehouse or open parking lot. if you get caught thats not my fault but your stupidity. e-brake on our cars are made for parking, if you wanna still try i suggest you get some SS brake lines and tighten it up. good luck and dont get hurt or hurt someone else.

^^^^+1 to what he said dood stop being ****** stupid man.. that's great that u dnt care about the speedlimit I hope that cocky attitude gets u some tickets. If you know how to drift then u should know u cnt do it with tcs on... the button is to the left of the steering wheel, press once to have it part way off and hold for 7 seconds till the car with tracks behind it pops up on the dash and its all off. But like the person above me said dnt do it on a street that's not where drifting is meant to b done.

Your going to take an innocent persons life bro.. what happens when u go to drift that corner and someone crossing? Your going 45 and sliding wtf u gonna do? Your either going to kill the person or total your car avoiding them....

Be smarter than a 16 year old kid...

+1 with what everyone else is saying.
thats the attitude of some high schooler who's driving mommys rx8 to school.
if you wanna learn to drift then go to auto-x or atleast find an empty parking lot.
don't give the sport a bad name.

I just don't like kids ******* around on the street and taking innocent lives just for his stupidity, I'm am real defensive when it comes to drifting, i've started when i was 15, and you have got to have more experiance then just ripping an e-brake around the corner. I suggest you take some auto x courses, so you can "really" know about car control. stepping up from mommys honda to mommys rx8 isnt gonna do much for you, since you have crap skills.

He saw Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Gota rip that ebrake man.

Low power car = clutch kick like your life depended on it

High power car = needs more throttle

"A plane idiot". I guess that means someone that can't fly a plane very well. I agree, if someone can' fly a plane very well, they shouldn't be walking a public street that little kids try to drift on. Although even if they could fly a plane, I don't think they should be walking the road where little kids might kill them.

Who gets to pay for your tires once you are finally successful? Well, scratch that, I'm guessing your tires will last longer than your bumpers and air bags.

Sanctioned cheap events where you learn how to control a car and compete for times. Really really recommended.

Yep but there are no race tracks for drifting. The only race track that I know of for cars is a drag strip, and drag stips are lame cause all you do is go straight.

This has to be the biggest fail thread ever. You are in the northwest. There are plenty of places to drift within driving distance.
