Question Car keeps stalling in neutral

I disconnected the battery to try to solve my "no sound issue" (posted on another thread, please read) https://www.rx8club.com/search.php?searchid=7019228 and after connecting the battery and clearing the computer it keeps stalling.

I have a K&N intake so I know that this is normal for the car to get used to it, then it usually stops. But now it's going on a day and a 1/2 of rolling to a stop in neutral and the thing keeps shutting off.

Is there another fix to this? I just cleaned out the MAF thinking this could be the problem but nada.

Any suggestions would be good.

it takes a few drive cycles for the trims to settle down.

04 MT Exhaust and intake. I understand that this happens and have gone through it a couple of times and it re-learned iteself. But it has never taken this long.

It could be the neutral position switch on the transmission.

That causes a CEL. OP didn't mention anything about that.

Nope no CEL. I did realize that my car runs quicker when in gear after cleaning the MAF though...but I will burn out my starter if this keeps up..

did you reset the e-shaft profile i.e. tapping the brake pedal immediately after turning the key on (but engine off)?
