car is not starting

hey having starting problems with a 2004 rx8, it is cold here right now around the mid 20's and ive tried to start the car and it turns over fine but is not starting... tried it a few times dont know what is happening.. the only modification is it has a AEM CAI other than that no mods.. o yeah its an automatic if that makes a difference. it has sat for a few days but the battery has a good charge still. i have no clue what else it could be.. please tell me if you can think of anything... thanks

is it flooded? did you recently start the car, move it like a couple feet, then turn off the car?

do you have a 1/4 tank of gas or less? if so that might be the issue if its in the mid 20's temperature wise there

How many miles? Have your spark plugs been changed?
Have you had the 4206F recall done?

Does the car sound normal when it's trying to start or does it sound different? If it's flooded the engine will sound like it's spinning more freely because you lost compression. I know I thought I had broken something the first time mine flooded. When mine flooded it had been sitting a while too. If nothing works I would look up the DIY on deflooding your engine and try that. There are some good write ups. You essentially manually inject a couple of CC's of oil into each rotor through the deflooding ports or the spark plug holes. I would try that just to make sure it's not flooded.

I have and AEM CAI on mine and have taken it to the dealership several times. They havn't said a thing. They would have to prove that the CAI is the root of the problem in order to void your warranty.
