Question Cat Problem?? Or exhaust issue?

Hello Everyone!!

So for the last two days I have been hearing a rattling sound from the bottom of my car.
I checked it out this morning while idling and noticed that the outer part of the cat, on the other side of the O2 sensor is lose. It has been rattling off the part of the car that protects your engine components. It seems like it almost rusted off.

My question "Is it possible to replace the outer peice of the CAT?" I think the part maybe the exhaust manifold or manifold gasket. I mean I haven't had a CEL light and gas mileage hasn't changed. So I don't think my cat is gone. I have an 04 with 113000km on it. Please any advice would help. I have an appointment to get Mazda to look at it tomorrow yet I want as much information ahead of time. So I know what to expect.

Also, I ran a search and didn't find anyone with this problem.

Turns out the manifold hardware was just a little loose. The just tightened a few bolds and away I went. Had it been the manifold hardware itself it would have costed 50 bucks for the part and about 1 hour in labour.
