catalytic converter
So i want to replace my catalytic converter but I'm not sure if i am looking at the right thing. I have read the threads in the do it yourself and they all talk about cat less pipes and thats not what i want to do. Now i bought a new converter but it has no opening for the o2 sensor in the side like the original seems to have. Am i looking at the wrong part or should i send the converter back that i bought? If anyone has any pics or anything to where the catalytic converter is located it would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you want to replace your catalytic converter? The catalytic converter is covered for 8yr 80k miles so have your tested if you think it is bad. Plus each catalytic converter is different and what works on one car wont work on your 8. Do some research first and return the catalytic converter that you bought. Plus you dont even know where it is on your car. There is no o2 sensor in the catalytic converter itself. You would have to cut out your old converter and weld the new one in. Its not a simple bolt on
