CEL, prob plugs?
hello,
i have 04, has about 86000 km on it.
I changed my plugs around 45000km
so here is my story.
I drove about 50mins, just normal highway driving, no driving hard what so ever.
I arrived at my frds house, and had a smoke
got back in the car, started engine [starts fine, no lag, nth]
then i see the CEL on.
do you guys think its my plugs?
if it is, should i change my coils too at the same time?
I already have wires from BHR, so think my wires are fine.
plz help
thank you

why don't you just go find out what CEL code it is throwing before you try to diagnose it before you even know the real problem. Mine just threw a CEL, but I found out it had nothing to do with the plugs, coils or wires. It was a P0420 code, which is usually the O2 sensor or the catalytic converter.
