Check Engine Light

Ok so i was driving today i got a check engine light and started to freak out. I hate that light for then anything. The codes that came up were UO155 and PO139. I did some searching and realize that i could have a bad o2 sensor. I already replaced the cat a while back. And put a turboxs on. I just wanted to know if it was safe to drive around? untill i find a main reason and get some cash. Thanks

The rear sensor is cheap, $60 roughly, and it's OK to ignore it, there is no 'limp mode' etc. associated with it.

It can be... It just means that it's an intermittent problem. Personally, since it's not a critical issue, I'd just wait to see if it comes back. (Although, it probably will. )

^It could have been a misfire but hard to tell with the info you have provided. How many miles you got on the car? Maintenance record? Manual/Automatic? When was the last time you changed coils/plugs/wires?

It's a 2005 Rx-8 18,956 miles spark plugs, etc has always been up to date. I took it for spin again and this time the light didn't come on, so it could have been a misfire? But the cars running great. I was just worried.

If cel comes back on go to an autoplace and get the code. Places like autozone do it for free. Once you get it search on the forum to find some information. Hopefully it won't come back.

Wow ... if it was me ... I would be checking the oil level.

I agree with the misfire and that's it could be anything as mentioned.

Need to get the code read
