Check ignition circuit. -RX8 gurus share your input-

There are tests out there for the spark plugs, spark plug wires, the ignition coil itself but what about the circuitry leading up to the ignition coil? This would be useful to check for opens or abnormally high resistance in the circuit.

I used ALLDATA (or some might say SOMEDATA) to search for the correct pin(s) on the PCM connector side to measure for continuity between the PCM and the power pin on the ignition coil connectors. The information I pulled from ALLDATA wasn't correct. I've attached the PCM connector face I pulled from ALLDATA. This connector is very similar to those on the PCM but none match exactly.

The injector PIN(s) would be useful as well.

Share your wisdom!
