you can weld it if you want. take it to a friend with a welder for a few beers or go to a local welder. i cant imagine it will take long or be expensive. but the flimsy metal remains and i've seen pics where the actual metal tore. not the welds. so the bracket is definitely worth it. it will basically create a cage around the pedal that really locks it down into place.

you will be amazed at how different the clutch feels when you install it. the installation is pretty easy for someone that does other small stuff on their car. like installing an intake, exhaust, or replacing the ignition coils. if a mechanic charges you more than an hours labor to install it... its a rip off.

Anyways, the bracket
Considering it sounded a bit sketch about whether BHR has discontinued the entire assembly or not. You guys still have the entire set up? I've been riding with the thing creeking for so long I want to do the entire assembly not just a metal blob over whats there.
How about just report your issue to NHTSA ?

Just report it as "it might have a problem"

Jenn Jenn, its preferable to have the stock bracket Tig welded,if you dont get a support bracket,I did mine and added a few gussets to strengthen it, good luck

you may need to pop your hood and push the master cylinder back against the firewall. if it has moved, everything won't line up and you won't be able to get the nuts on.

I have quite a few that have bought the complete assembly, I am selling more with newer units than used cores just for the sake of having a new core instead of a used one.

My petal is fine, i just figured it would be easier installation if i buy the complete assembly haha.
Im replacing my transmission soon, and wanted to have this bracket installed same day, as well as a new clutch for the hell of it.
Is the bracket itself easy to install?

I consider it relatively easy but I have installed quite a few of these, it takes some time to get it done if you have never done it before. I can do these in my sleep.

Ok, so I just got mine in today, all 3 nuts tight, and the rod in the hole. Car wont start. What did you all do to get it back to working. I saw the first post he said that the metal offset it but he never mentioned what he did to fix it. Any help is appreciated!

^Did you remember to plug in the starter interlock switch?
If so, you may need to pull out that white plunger some.
Easy way to verify if you're looking in the right place is to manually press in that white plunger and start the car
Obviously no need to press the clutch pedal... but make sure the car is in neutral.

Cool bro! That worked. I got the car started and took it for a ride to verify that it shifted ok, but the car still wont start on its own. I tried to pull the plunger out and it didnt budge. When the pedal is out, its not touching the plunger. I didnt want to pull in it to hard cause it looks like cheap plastic. Can I move that sensor?? Thanks for your help!! I at least got my car back in the garage, theres a huge storm coming!

How does the clutch pedal height looked next to the brake pedal?
They should both be level with each other.

There have been times I've slightly bent that bracket holding the green pad out so it hits the plunger sooner... if its not too far away.

remove clutch, its only 4 bolts. lol.

Edit: Remove the limit switches

drill hole in clutch assembly, very easy
attach bracket

Edit: Reinstall limit switches

reinstall clutch
See my edits... Don't ask
