Code P4700 what is this?
Anyone know what this code is? I know every other code I have present, and am currently looking into it. Any info would be great, as the manual and other guides I have found here do not make any reference to it.

I think it means you have too much horsepower and, as such, you should give the car to me for your own safety - at least thats what the shop manual says in the fine print.

There is no such valid code. Sure it isn't P0470?

It is possible the code is not correct, because I have the older canscan unit that I have yet to upgrade to the new firmware, but here is a cut and paste of the code

Pending Code 1 -P4700--Trouble code definition not found

Yeah, that could be one of the meaningless codes thrown when a non-compatible reader is connected to the OBDII can bus.

I have the CANScan from Harrison, albiet on the older firmware. So it is not an incompatable device persay. There is an update I can send away for though.
