Coil Coolers?

Coil Coolers?
This post is for someone with fabrication skills.
Our coils get too hot and die, what about a small clip on heat sink to keep them a little cooler.
I am thinking of a computer's CPU fan on the bottom of each coil.
Any thoughts?

the coils are surrounded by FULL of heat.

The two ignition system upgrades that I have seen take the coils up in the air and actually have them air cooled on all sides rather than have them on the hot engine. True, no heat sinks this way, but I don't think there was a lot to begin with the old way. Hell....the heat transfer could've ended up being the other way.......from the hot engine to the coils.....but what do I know, I never studied it.

To the OP, sorry I didn't notice earlier that you already have relocated coils thru the Pettit SC install. My suggestion to keep them cooler is to try the LS2 coil conversion mod. The AC Delco D585 LS2 coils have built in heat sinks and only run about 25 bucks each. You can find more info on this mod in this link: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/my-msd-8247-ls2-muti-spark-blaster-coils-project-139691/
It's based on the BHR LS2 ignition mod. Good stuff in there.
