coil harness connector piece reusable?
so i ran into a problem with the harness which connects to the front rotor leading coil. what happen was one of the wire from the harness was cut off. so i am wondering if i would have to replace the whole engine harness or can i just reconnect the wire back to the plastic connector without using a wire connector? i am currently using a wire connector right now, but the reason why i want to make it look original is because i need to bring my car to mazda for warranty work. i am afraid if mazda sees the wire connector, they might say something or blame that for the cause of my problem.
if anybody knows how the plastic connector works like remove the wires and reconnect the wires... it would be nice if you can help me out. thanks in advance!
the picture below is not mine, but the piece in the red box is what i am talking about.

i know i should let mazda fix it but one of the dealers quoted $800 to get that fixed. they said i would have to replace the whole engine harness just for that connector. and i also understand that soldering the connections are the best way, but i am wondering if there is another way where i can reuse the plastic coil connector to reconnect the wire instead so it will look original. but thanks for help though.

in my first post of this thread i have stated that one of the wire on the connector was snipped off and the connector has no damage at all. it is connected temporarily with a wire connector, but i would like to fix it back to original so mazda wouldnt think that i screwed around with the engine wiring. like what dannobre said i would need to pop the metal clip out and reconnect it with a new clip to fix it. i would do it but i am afraid that i might break the harness while doing this so i am wondering if anyone knows where i can find these harnesses just incase if i break it.

Those connectors are pull to seat and are an absolute bitch to get out if you can at all. PM and I will be able to send you one. YOu will need to cut and resolder the new one so I suggest you get an auto elec' to do this for you. Not cheap but cheaper than mazda.
