I appreciate that someone spent a great deal of time scanning this info but I have two issues with it.
1) When I open the downloaded file there are no pictures. Without pictures this is marginally useful for me.
2) Also, it is somewhat of a pain to have to explore each and every link to see what is there.
Is there something I am not doing right or is that normal?

I unzipped the file into a directory, and when that happens, you will find about 5 things in it, one labeled index.html. When you click on it, it will open in your Web Browser and you get basically the html format of the manual with pics, descriptions and more information that you know what to do with.
In my example, I extract the .zip to a folder called "Manual" within My Documents. I then open the folder and double click the index.html folder which opens in Internet Explorer and then there is drop down menus to get where you want to go. I also found a way to change the size of the menu area on the left side of the screen so that it is easier to read. I have a 17" widescreen monitor, so increasing the width really doesn't hurt the viewable portion and makes finding the right section easier and faster.
To increase the size of the left side menu first open the index.html file, then go up to the menu bar and click VIEW -> SOURCE. A text editor window pops up and you can make the change by going halfway down to the section that has:
scrolling="no" noresize marginheight="5" marginwidth="5">
<frameset cols="250,*" border="0" framespacing="0">
<frameset rows="60,*" frameborder="no" framespacing="0">
<frame name="srvc_menu"
change the frameset cols="250,*" to something larger. You only need to change the number, save it close the window and then refresh and the menu will have changed.
I know may be common knowledge to many people, but I just wanted to throw it out there in case you were interested.
