fail how?? dude is simply asking "experts" to evaluate his compression readings... and give him a tad of advice on whether he should rebuild or does he have time... this makes him a troll how?

how about point him to a rebuilder near him who does quality work and won't rape him to death?

noone was born all knowing... especially about these finicky and fragile motors that we all bought...

There is google, there is a search button, there is Mazda Service manuals and there is basically a post on every page of this forum about rebuilding or low compression... But instead of putting a little effort into it and researching he makes threads about every question he has. Questions are good, but when you make a thread to answer every single one instead of seaching people get annoyed. Especially when it has been covered a thousand times.

That is why people are on his case

Coupled with the fact that the OP refuses to take anything away from these redundant threads and will continue to ignorantly tarnish his car through uneducated decisions when the right answers are staring him in the face.

I understand different people have different learning curve's but this ones a straight uphill trek.

hey man, I've been titled the "biggest *******" on the forum, even when I just told these idiots to "SEARCH"

but those who GAVE ME that title, u know, those "kind, loving" ones ... WHERE ARE YOU NOW? THOUGHT U SUPPOSED TO HELP THEM ? and I KNOW you guys are ONLINE, no comment? OP needs help dude! where is the savior? so much talk and no action ?

I know I did couple of compression test for free with my official mazda tester, swap couple of brackets, coils, even suspensions for people, all for free. I think I did help more than lots of "online moral police".

ok I expressed my view, /endrant.

Because a lot of us have a filter on our brain to not spew a bunch of verbal diarrhea.

Come on guys.

Its like reading a soup opera

The OP needs to take everything with a grain of salt. You will find good info and bad. Its up to you on how you take the info that is given.

The search is your friend but will only go so far. The point of starting a new thread. But you should always search first.

I like to search and have a thread going at the same time. I can show the source of the info I found and explain the reason for my questions. Being able to talk to someone that has experienced it is key. Search results for trouble shooting is crap. There are to may factors that come into play were just a search is suitable.

Finding what factory specs are for compression is something you search for. Asking what can be done about it is something you start a thread for but still search to.

I would to be an *** if the same question was asked everyday. But at the same time I would control myself and not post at all.

For the OP, do what you think is best. If you want to take the chance and wear down the rotor and housing, go for it. If you want to rebuild, then do it. Take action in yourself and apply yourself.

This is not rocket science. You have all the peaces and info in front of you. If you understand the instructions then you will have no problem doing it your self. If you are scared then you will be paying someone to do it.

If you are just looking for a replacement then spend half the money and get a engine with 50k and slap it in.

There is nothing in these forums that will fix your problem but yourself. The forums is just a tool. Its up to you on how you use it.
