Compression test on a nonstarting engine????
Long story short, i flooded the car and engine over the past weekend. It's been at the stealership since monday. The ins company finally gave the ok to start diag. the eng issue.
I spoke with the adviser today and said they did a compression test on the engine and the bango readings came back with readings ranging from 3.2 to 3.8 on the faces of both rotors.... when i asked how they got it started, he said they hadn't started it yet. It is my understanding that the engine has to be fully warmed up and running at 200rpms for the test to read properly.....
