Coolant from engine hoist bracket?
I was replacing my alternator, and to make it easier I took out the engine hoist bracket (or at least i assume that's what it is). It's the bracket to the RIGHT of the alternator. It's connected to what seems like the engine block, by 2 long bolts. It's just a piece of metal that comes up from each bolt and has a oval at the end. When I took the bolts out, COOLANT came out. Is that normal? Coincidentally, about a week before my car died while driving, I would sometimes get a coolant light while first staring, but the light would go away after 30 seconds. I replaced the alternator and it's not starting now, but the coolant light would stay on. So I topped it off. There was no coolant at all in the clear container at the front of the engine bay. It took some, not a lot. It's now at the F line, where it should be.
