hay every bad news i just crashed my rx-8 today.

no one was hurt or anything but my car the back of the car is pretty munched everything is fix able but lot of work is needed but the worst thing was my ti exhaust was fucked but we going to see if we can fix it fingers crossed & my new back bumper is totaled sucks then my front not to bad just need few fiberglass done to it .

the reason i crashed was my good mate (Brettus) was showing me his car 6speed manual rx-8 then i was bit shocked from this car that it was so much quicker

then we disaded to use the g-tech to measure the speed of my car then. the first test we did i got a shocking result.

then there was no second result lol because i crashed i was going to hard on the corner then i didn't see the car in front me then i got scared probly so i push down on the brake(bad move bad move) then yea pretty much we ended up on a farm lol i think brettus has a picture of the car crashed i need to get it off from him .

now my car is at brettus's house sleeping.

now this a good chance of selling my auto rx-8 then geting a 6speed manual.

thinking of painting my rx-8 back to winning blue or just do a same sort of blue but bit deffrent so i can say it custom paint job so i get bit more money.

TO EVERY ONE WITH AN AUTO do not try to race a manual 6 speed rx-8 it just doesn't work ay lol even if you have turbo/supercharger it probley not that quicker if the 6speed if the 6 speed is done up little bit.

i can say i lost fate in my auto rx-8 but i found new hope with the 6speed manual

Sorry to hear about that mate. Glad no one was hurt though. By the way you put it, it seems to mostly be exterior body work - right?

Anyhow, looks like you walked away with a lesson not mentioned in your post: its not a good idea to race in the city/town in the first place.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Thank God no one was hurt. Once I had a Honda Accord coupe flipping over my hood and crashed. My friends were in the other car. It was such a relief that they were all ok. And its good to know you are too. =)

sorry to hear that man, about the paint job, id just leave it...you would spend more money getting it painted then what the profit would be from having a "regular" paint job. hope everything works out alright

 

well we not really raceing in town ay it more or out of town and i was not beside him or anything i was just been competive thats all it sucks but it my own damn fault.

yea see what happens i 100% want to keep the black roof look but every thing i hope i just get a response from the panel better soon good thing that i got most of the panel to fix it lol don't haven't to do all the panel beating work lol

 

There was no racing at all - in case anyone thinks that was what was going on .I took yushi for a drive then he took me for a ride in his AT - backwards through a fence and into a paddock

Oh!! I remember you with the camo paint job......sorry to hear about all of your hard work down the crapper. Live and learn........get a manual!

 

my sugestion ............ just get carbon fiber parts .... the money you have to pay for paint / body work would be about the same.


2k for doors / hood looks ok
600 for front bumper piece -- various inserts can be picked up form a junk yard.


a few spot welds and your done

..... also as for reselling .... you can boast about the lightwieght carbon fiber ...

yea i am going to be fine i mean only thing i really need to pay for is the back panel beating and the rear window i got all the parts i need i mean it deffrent colour.

but i am going to repaint it with my mate

and there was no raceing invoied it was just me and the g-tech lol

na i am not going to paint my car bublegum pink painting it with winning blue kai which got no metric in it got 100% pearl it looks wicked trying to paint it this weekend.

on a serious note, sorry to hear about your accident. glad everyone came out alive, minus your car. it looks like its almost a totaled job. hard to believe damage to right and front like that and no frame damage came of it..
