Cruise Control Button Relocation
I am wanting to change out my steering wheel and know I could rewire it myself but I was wondering if anyone had already came up with a kit or had any experience on the RX-8 with relocating the cruise control buttons. I do not really care about the radio controls but I do have to have cruise. Thanks for the help....

Cool, thanks I've been trying to find out. The person I bought my car from said he saw a aftermarket steering wheel installed in an 8 but I have yet to find out how it was done.(he doesn't know.)
Once the hub is out I have a neat little idea, that I'll write up later to get peoples opinions on. I'm to tired right now to do it.

Fancy steering wheels make you look bad *** fast.
But when someone in a stock OEM car whups you -***- around a road course on street tires, then you can blame your shitty performance on the cheap Korean steering wheel you bought, because the adaptor is loose or something.
Thats my take, and my lap time talk, not my mods.

No, I actually have a good reason for it. I am 6 foot 5 inches tall and my legs hit the steering wheel when I get in and out. I need a smaller wheel and maybe one that is flat across the bottom... I am also considering one that I can remove upon entering and exiting.... we will see what I can come up with.....
