Crushed intake pipe

Crushed intake pipe
Hey guys,
I had a little incident at the skidpan on the weekend with another car and did some damage to my car
Part of the damage is my AEM cold air intake pipe got semi-crushed (the part that snakes down and connects to the air filter). I have tried to bash the dents out (I know it’s not pretty, it’s the best I could do with a hammer and socket extension - fortunately this part of the intake is always hidden). Now my question is, will this effect performance with the intake pipe all mangled like this?
Thanks,
Daniel

^^no doubt, filter looks to be in worse shape
I can’t remember if that piece and filter inlet is either 3.25” or 3.5” diameter? A proper fab shop could make a new replacement piece, but it’d probably be close to the price of buying a new AEM intake.
