Cusco 6pt roll cage: will it fit?
Please let me know if anyone has a left hand drive RX-8 and a Cusco roll cage. Cusco has said that they're not sure if it will fit. They only test fit it on right-hand drive models.

Thanks a ton guys. I'll be ordering it next weekend along with some Bride Gias Andromedas, a Nardi wheel, gauges, 5th point for my harnesses, and HKS ignition upgrades.

isnt that what they make padding for? from my experience with out a cage while jumping a curb while drifting my head did hit the top roof in the car by the door (and yes my seat belt was on) there is padding there so that help my head a lot. But u are right hitting your head on the bar will fuc$ you or head up. But i think so very good padding not the cheap kind should help.

here is a 4 point cusco cage in my friend's mr-s. hope you're short cause i'm 6'0 and my head sits in direct contact of the cage. great bolt-in fitment but i believe most US racing sanctions will not approve of the cusco cage, too many technicalities i guess, even though it is FIA approved. more of a show type cage. just a thought. cusco blue is nice though.

[/quote]If a cage is FIA approved than it will be approved by the major sanctioning bodies in the US & Canada, as they are a subset of the FIA.
