Custom or Stock CAI?
Alright so i'm trying to figure out route I should go for air intake, and i've come up with three options. I currently have a V2 Typhoon and really don't like the sound it makes.
First is doing a custom CAI. Would estimate cost around $75 at the most for filter and tubing. Don't think I can use the K&N filter I have now for this because of how it's designed, i would need it pointed directly forward since it isn't omni directional.
Second choice would be going back to stock, simple.
Third, don't really want this because of price, would be wait and get an AEM CAI used. Way to expensive new IMO when I can go to stock, so only way I would do this would be if I can get it for the same price as a stock air intake.
I would go and create a custom CAI if I didn't have that HUGE K&N filter on there. But it's so large and oddly designed I don't think I can position it a correct way under my bumper.
