Why drive at all?
Why not just rev to the beep, sitting at a traffic light?
Because you need a blast of foot-to-the-floor 'redline' wide open throttle to burn carbon and 'clear the pipes' - the difference between a yawn and a cough - a blast of heat/flow to move the rotary mucous!

MY favorite part of my morning drive to work is exiting a toll booth, taking it down to second pulling 9000, third gear pulling 9000 and if really feeling froggy, fourth gear 9000 but miss my exit when I do that in fourth.
