Dealership says engine oil pan is leaking
#26
when your oil pan is failing it wont be a noticeable leak it will just slowly trickle out over time and turn into grease on the sides of the pan. if you happen to notice a large grease buildup towards the front I'd point my finger at the front main seal.

anysuggested fixes?
I have a couple that are stripped they seemed to do just fine at first but now the pan is leaking very lighly, I too thought the gray rtv would hold the oil back.
mine is on the spark plug side, anyone do a hela coil, or because this is the ouside arm drill through it and tap it, and use a longer bolt?

You might be able to go to an imperial sized bolt.....that is just a bit bigger and tap out the hole
I bet if you re/re the pan and clean it up really good the rtv will seal it...unless there are 2-3 in a row that aren't working
