Cat is on its way back to Rotary Performance. Mary with RP said that they are testing a new cat for people with issues that should be even more durable that I will get when my cat pipe is returned. Looking at about 2 weeks turn around time.

Please keep us posted. I'm recently getting the CEL on and off now......dealer says it's quite possible it's from the aftermarket cat. I'm also going to have my supercat taken off and checked. By the way....is driving around with the CEL on harmful to the car? That is, is the CEL is due to the cat.

no the CEL isn't harmful, its just showing the cat isn't performing to standards.

we've got a customer with a super cat, it looks ok (we had it off, broke 5th gear synchro...), but driving around you can smell it melting.
