Dent Repair Kit Opinion
There are two weird vertical dents in my rear bumper that I'm at a bit of a loss figuring out how they got there. There's no paint damage and people backing into my car would leave more than two vertical marks. Anyway, I'm thinking about buying a DIY dent repair kit from Pep Boys, but before I do I would like the opinion of people who've used it. This kit this the Ding King : http://www.autobarn.net/dinkindenrep.html. Also, experiences with other kits would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

Don't use those dent thingy's you get at Pep Boys. You can do more damage than what's already there.
Here's What some folks here had to say about them. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ight=pops+dent
Call your dealership or go online and find a DentWizard or DentPro. I've got a small one on my drivers door. Can't really see it but I know it's there. I plan on having DentWizard fix it soon. They come highly recommended from what I've heard. I found one just across the street from the Mazda dealership here, at the Nissan dealership....go figure.

I recommend Dent Wizard. I just had a dent removed on my hood from a projectile rock and one on my drivers side 1/4 panel. They may be a bit pricey, but it is quick, efficient, and it looks like new.

The problem is the dent is on the bumper, which is plastic and a material that Dent Pro expressly says they won't work on and Dent Wizard doesn't seem like they will either. It's also extremely small, so I might just live with it.

Once the bumper is dented it's difficult to get it back. Mine was backed into and basically crushed on one side. Took it off and used a towel and a rubber mallet. It worked and you can only tell if I point it out. Eventually it will be fixed by a bodyshop just haven't had the time.

Well it's extremely small, to the point where I don't think there would be anything to hit on the otherside of the bumper, there is also no paint damage of any kind (scratches etc.). In fact, if you close your eyes and run your hand along it, it would take a pretty acute sense of touch (which I have) to feel the two dings. It's just that I'm **** by nature and that's being compounded by the fact that I've had the car for less than two weeks, so I don't want this blemish. Still, I'll probably just end up living with it.

It's not really that I'm willing to live with it. I don't want to, but as it is I don't see how it can be repaired short of buying a new bumper cover, and I'm certainly not in a position to afford that and it's just not justifiable to get a new bumper for so small a blemish.
