Did I just void my warranty?
I just swapped my engine oil to castral synthetic blend 5w-30. Car runs nice a smooth. Idles a bit higher it seems. So, did I do a bad thing? Seems like the car runs better with 5w-30.

o god you are doooomed... car is probably on fire now...
i have been running royal purple 5-30 for 15k miles now... so far small jump in gas mileage, and much much less smoot on my exhaust tips.

Yes Youre a big, I mean BIG BIG SINNER to the "Anti-Synth in Rotary" family. Needless to say you did NOT follow the 5w-20 on Mazda's Manual !!!!! You're SO evil !!!!
Now they're going to track your 8 down, report it to Mazda and void your warranty.

Guys, I think I might have to switch back because I feel like a fugitive. Every time I drive by Mazda, I duck.....Do you think they might have P.I.'s watching my every oil change? I don't know what to do .....help!!!! I'm sweating bullets....a tear just dropped out of my eye and I'm scared. Shhhhh everyone, don't talk to no one. I mistyped 5w-20 for 30.....the 3 is closest to 2 and my parkinsons is acting up. Lucky for me I have a rotating I.P.........muahahahahahah Mazda, I pwns you......
