If i'm looking at the DIY for the Mazdaspeed Front Strut Bar it looks like the Master Cylinder support on the Strut Bar connects to something on the Master Cylinder that isn't there on the 2006+ models. Does anyone have the MS Strut Bar on a 2006+ and can confirm that the MC brace can be fitted properly?

it doesn't "connect" to anything, it screws outward and presses against the forward end of the MC

 

Perhaps he's thinking of the bleeder valve on the master cylinder? That's the only thing that I can think of that's changed.

 

right...I had an '04 first, and I remembered it had a different front (with the bleed valve). Good to know the strut bar connection is just the way TeamRX8 described. Thanks
