Dont leave the Smart Card in the car..?

Hi everybody,

I found this text on another forum and was wondering if this is true..?

" If you leave the Smart Card in the car when it's not running for a length of time it will not start."

I'm a newbie on Rx8 and dont even know where the smart car is located..?
- Please someone, explain this for me..! - I have dont found any thread about this so far...

Thanks

Anybody knows if the above has something to do with the (advanced keyless start/entry system)...?
- I think they talked about a Rx-8 Shinka model and did not that model came in 2006..?

Can anybody provide a picture where the Smart Card is located..?

its wrong. I've found a way to lock my own key in the trunk, but have the car still be locked, but then unlock when you press the trunk button. use it all the time, specially when i cant take my keys with me somewhere, ie... skydiving or at the beach.
