2. If you had read the thread, not even done any other searching just read the thread before you posted, you'd have your answer.
3. Anyone who is interested enough to go out and spend the $100 for the cf prop shaft will likely at least Google search.
4. My impression is that if you've done all you can possibly do to extract performance from your car, this is probably the last cheapest change. You won't notice a difference.
5. I don't like the cut of your jib. So search, or GTFO.

like that's going to happen...
unfortunately the consensus around here is spend more time flaming people than actually answering a simple question with less effort.
i figured it was not worth the effort, thank you for eventually saying so. the 4 port is not exactly a performance oriented setup.

9 yr old thread but in case someone is doing this, there are some potentially unanswered questions from this. I was looking at swapping a CF shaft from a MT I got from someone and my vehicle is a 2006 6 speed AT with sport suspension. It has a steel drive shaft. Side by side they are the same length but the yokes are different diameter and have different spline numbers. The 6AT is wider at 40mm OD (10 and 11 splines between the opposing keyed splines) than the MT at 38mm (12 and 11 splines between opposing keyed splines). So yoke swap would be required. With the u-joint not having nice snap rings (I think I saw somewhere that they are hard to source now and mazda didn't intend them to be replaced separately) it might open a new can of worms to try a swap unless one is positive about the replacement u-joint dimensions etc.
