That's exactly what I thought when I saw the screen after the run. The run with the Greddy turbo had her pushing 250 or so on the same type of dyno. So i figured with a bigger turbo and better tuning the numbers would go up not down. But like I mentioned before apparently this Dyno shows lower numbers than other (i.e. Mustang dynos)

Well she drives real smooth. No hiccups/hesitations nothing like that. However I haven't changed her spark plugs in about 15k so I'm probably going to do that this weekend. Now will this make things better. Maybe maybe not.

As far as AFR's I'll have to load up the other graph.
Unfortunately I did not get a chart for boost. However after the run the highest boost I saw was 9 psi. (Note: I do not have a boost controller.)

So I was looking at a clip from the run I did on the dyno and noticed that the run was done in 4th gear. I must have looked at the clip 5 or 6 times to make sure. I know that the gear ratio is 1:1 in 5th and 1.18:1 in 4th. Would this be a reason the number are low?

Hmm...interesting. However would this explain why I was able to obtain 250 whp in 5th on the same type of Dyno? The only major difference was that I was using a Greddy turbo vice MM's turbo. I'm just trying to rule out anything obvious before proceeding to "Easter egging" the lack of HP. So far this seems the only diffrence between the run with the Greddy turbo and MM's turbo. (well except for the turbo themselves)

will do fuel pressure test first-what should stock fuel pressure read from 6000 to 9000 rpm?

Finally got around to putting my baby on the dyno. I did a 3rd and 4th gear pull plus some other pulls just for data logs for more tuning. My engine has roughly 54k miles on it. Power adding mods include: BHR ignition, Revi Intake and ram air, AP mid pipe, HKS single exit exhaust, Cobb with MM tune. You can't see it on the graphs but the actual numbers where 190.2 RWHP in 3rd gear and 194.9 in 4th. Curves look decent to me but I'm no expert by any means. Not bad for an engine with that many miles me thinks. What do you guys think?

Damn, I guess I should have read through this thread then lol. I had the option of scheduling else where that had a dynojet. I though I read somewhere that mustang dynos where supposed to mimic conditions you would actually see on the road. Getting the RWHP numbers where not my main goal in mind. I just wanted to get my last data logs for my final tune on a dyno where I can actually hit redline in 3rd gear, at least with out fear of going straight to jail for doing more than 20 over the speed limit. Next time I'll hit up titan motorsports and use their dynojet.
Edit: I'll stand by my decision to go with the mustang dyno, and I will use the same dyno in the future. The numbers are just numbers, what matters is the curves, at least to me. I think if I had fresh plugs the curves would have been smoother at the top end. I think they have 15k on them, I forgot to write it down in my log book when I changed them last.

Dyno'd mine today. The car is completely stock with 90,400mi. I bought the car about 2mo. ago with 88,900mi.
Based on Mazda's records it has the original engine and the last major tune up was at 65,00mi. but all of the other required maintenances were done on time.
It was approx 74*F and 65%RH. The runns were back to back with about 2 mins between them.
Both runns were in 3rd gear.

First bit of setup time on our new rebuilt R3 motor, yes, I've left the figures off , they're not hard to work out though (in the sig for a start ).

Needs more resolution working into the map to smooth out the port opening @ 6500rpm further, but the motor is still tight (only had 40 miles on it at this point), so it was just a tidy up mapping session to ensure it was safe to run in on.
When it gets some fine tuning and the rest of the rpms to go at I'll post the full chart up, but it gives you a rough idea of a lightly ported R3 motor on long-runner tubular headers + uprated coils/standalone, etc - where most motors are dropping off on the torque after 5krpms or so she's still climbing.
