Dyno the Xylene
I am starting a new thread for this subject due to lack of interest in the last thread. No one wanted to read debates anymore and they all stopped checking the thread.
We all know that Xylene runs safely in RX-8's. There are a lot of guys running it with no problems. I am sure we would have heard by now if they did have problems. We all also know about the increased octane, detonation period, and heavier molecular weight.
What we don't know is what the xylene will actually improve your horsepower and torque numbers by. I am sure there are many of you out there wondering, because you have been thinkin about using xylene.
So my request is, someone please dyno the 8 with and without xylene. Also dyno it with a cz-1 rx-8 with and without xylene, if you have it.
It would be much appreciated. Also, if anyone is using xylene, drop a post about your impressions.
May the Speed be with you.

Wow, lots of assumptions about your audience there. I honestly don't know what Xylene is and what it does, but I sure would like to learn from you. And what properties does Xylene have that makes it a special blend for normal gas?
