E-brake "cover" broken

Attached are pictures and you can see that the plastic "flap" is broken at the front. Is that "flap" part of a sleeve that simply covers the lever or will I have to purchase the whole lever assembly? I checked the parts manual and it is unclear to me (part # F151-44-010?). Anyone have experience with this issue?

it's all one piece. the cover just slides off and the new one slides over it. If you simply pull firmly on your parking brake lever cover it will come off without an issue.... if it's cold in your car you might want to wrap a warm towel around it for a minute.

So I don't need to remove the center console cover? I can just pull that "sleeve" off and replace with a new one? Any ideas how much this sleeve will set me back?

yep.. just pull and it's off. no clue what the new one would be... i would guess pretty cheap but who knows what mazda up charges. You might want to put a feeler in the "parts wanted" section to see if anyone has one to sell.

Thanks, man. I like the cover you've got, where did you order it from?
