The "as built" data is a full sheet of hex #'s that have to be entered to program each of the modules

Here's a few from mine

VIN.......JM1FE1XXXXXXXXXXX
FCC1 FFFF FFBA

PCM Module

PCM1 FFFF FFFF 0310
PCM2 0DFF FFFF FE1A
PCM3 FFFF FFFF FF0E
etc...
In all there are13 rows of PCM Module data to enter

Then the BCE Modules...there are 16 more rows of data

The ecu is basically wiped and then overwritten with this data.....and then it works like the original.
Ok

Please help, I have 05 rx8 AT just had them reprogram the PCM but he says he can't get it to communicate with the TCM also I have no power steering. It's at the Honolulu Mazda dealership and there technicians reprogrammed a remanufactured PCM/ECU I bought and brought to them. I also bought a referbished TCM and ABS .they got the ABS to work but he supposedly can't get the TCM to communicate with the PCM. I think they won't really try because I didn't buy a brand new PCM (900.00) and TCM($740.00) from the dealership. They really don't want to help me it seems like. Do you have all the lines of code so I can show the technician and ask him if he has done all this .Please help .feel free to call me. (808)2184345 thanks.

They need to get the As Built data for your car from Mazda tech.... it is linked to your VIN

So I’m in a similar situation but not entirely. I was wondering if anyone has any input on assisting me.

I recently acquired a 2007 MT. I previously owned a 2005 MT. I’ve got a Cobb to pass emissions mainly as well as some slight tuning. I made sure to unmarry my Cobb from the 2005. Tried to install the Cobb on the 2007. I keep getting an error to turn the car off and on again. I attempted to flash my friends 2006 with the Cobb and it had no issue. I had another friend bring their scan tool to check the OBD is working on my 2007 and it is. I was wondering if for some reason the previous owner had a tune on the car and now I’m sol and unable to flash the Cobb onto the 2007. Is there a way to reflash the ecu to stock so I can marry the Cobb or am I screwed?

Maybe it has a tune on it already from a prior owner that wasn’t removed, might be one reason.

Contact Cobb technical support, I'm sure they have seen it all.
If you recently acquired the car can you not ask the previous owner what he had on there?

Well they kind of don’t exist anymore, not like before. Sold off to Holley I believe. The shops still exist as Growler Motor Labs now. Might be a better option:

Well, the site is still up and they are having a memorial day sale... Maybe ownership has changed, but all the contact numbers are still up. https://www.cobbtuning.com/contact/

I had an R3 one but unfortunately the engine broken and no one understands how to do the rebuilt so I brought engine from Japan
when it received it seems that the engine is for series 1 I believe 2006 model
so I started the swap using the R3 ecu everything works fine only the omp not working I tried everything but unfortunately nothing happened
so I think my last option is the link ecu to solve this issue and any other issues that may happen regarding the speedometer and so on
what do you thing is it right to use the link ecu
and if I need a base map can you help in this issue.
