Engine Acting Up Please Help

Hi, I had a new car problem tonight. I have about 32,500 miles on it, and up to date car service. I went out to run some errands, drove about 5 miles stopped and the car started to idle really rough. I drove 3 miles more and stopped again at a light, the car sounded rough and weak. I noticed it occurs up to 3,000 rpms. I lowered down my window and started to accelerate slowly when I noticed an odd noise. Really hard to describe, sounded sort of like exhaust clunk but not, something metal swishing or swooshing noise and a bad vibration and loss of power. Its coming from the engine. When driving the car feels like crap (almost like a tractor). Im calling the dealer tomorrow and taking it in. Did anyone experience this?

OMG!!! The car has everything done so how would I have everything figured out! Theres no CEls or any warning lights on! If I passed 30k obviously the car had a 30k done, so a driver does about 1k or so a month! Do the math man, Whats so hard to understand with car being up to date with everything?

swoope- shhhh...be nice to the mentally deficient...most of them don't realize that a simple answer will solve all their problems...

you see, having all service done up to a certain point doesn't necessarily mean you've had all recalls completed. if it was standard service then all thqaat was done was basic changing of fluids, inspection and such like that.

Swoope's got a good question. when /was/ the last time it actually saw the dealership?

I cant recall looking at the idle range, because I had my head out the window listening to the noise. But the car was vibrating and have a loud idle.

Agreed. Adam is a good guy, from those of us that actually know him. Calling him "mentally deficient" is in no way constructive or of use, wave your e-***** elsewhere.
